Rental Program

The Northwest Encaustic studios are now available to rent! Studio times will be Friday through Sunday 10:00am till 6:00pm. Availability needs to be prearranged and is potentially anytime there isn't a class scheduled. Click here to view available dates.

Before reserving rental time, please read through the Studio Rental Requirements & Limitations listed below. By reserving time, you are accepting and agreeing to abide by the studio's requirements and limitations. Please address any questions about these policies or your rental needs by Emailing us with questions or concerns prior to reserving studio time.

Studio Rental Fees:
$85.00 Day Rental
$120.00 Two-Day Rental
$180.00 Three-Day Weekend Rental

Studio Rental Requirements & Limitations

Rental fees are per person. There is a 10% discount for groups of three or more renters that schedule at the same time. If you purchase this option through the pulldown menu, please list the names of others in your group when entering the requested dates, this will help us match you to your group. If the required 3 renters do not ultimately end up renting at the same time you will not be eligible for the discounted rate and will be responsible for paying the normal rental rate.

Rental fees will cover encaustic medium and equipment, with the exception of wooden panels. Wooden panels will be available to purchase at the studio or students can bring their own. Renters who wish to work on large pieces or a large number of paintings can be subject to additional charges.

Rental is available to students of Northwest Encaustic or experienced encaustic painters. If you have not previously taken a class, then you will need to schedule an access test. Access tests are provided at Northwest Encaustic studios on Fridays at 4:00 pm.
